I have a 2008 6.7 ctd. I recently did the deletes cause I thought it was making oil. After I did the deleted I changed the oil and let it drain for about 30 minutes. I have about 500 miles on the new oil and the dipstick is showing oil to the top of the plastic piece. I drained the new oil into a clean pan so I can put it back in and it only had the three gallons I put in. I was wondering if anybody else had this same problem reading the oil level on their dipstick.

 

There was a recall a while back, I think, for the wrong dipstick being sent in the trucks. Ill have to see if I can hunt it up.

That being said, I have had no issues with it, on my 08, or my '11
