No code but real ruff

When I turn the key to activate the glow plugs the truck dings 4 times and often the glow plugs do not cycle. When they do the truck runs fine. When they dont the truck runs ruff and blows light blue then is fine once I am down the block.

I have a 2007 5.9 with a smarty S06 Pod turned back to stock.

Any help is appreceated because this is my daily driver and I have to get to work soon.

Your Cummins diesel is a REAL diesel engine, there are NO glow plugs! Those are for low compression engines pretending to be diesels

You do how ever have a grid heater which heats the air entering the intake to help start the engine on very cold days. It is controlled by the ambient temperature and will not activate unless it is cold outside.
