thanks for all the info on this site guys. Decided to unplug after reading the various threads,so far so good. Unplugged on friday nov 14th . Next day i drove from courtenay to victoria bc(vancouver Island)return. Averaged 20mpg on 80%highway 20%city. Best i got prev. was 13-14.5 city and 17mpg highway. It was in the dealers for a manual de-soot and they put that stupid dvd in my truck about a month ago. No cel since then but i was only getting about 13mpg afterwards It does take longer to warm up but that is the only change i ve noticed - so again thanks and i will keep you posted.

 

I figured your name meant your location. I was out on the island last month.
Might be out there again before year end. My truck had all sorts of parts fall off of it.

ya i think i'llwait for the warranty to expire then do a dpf delete hopefully they will have a egr plug of some sort by that time.
