New guy here!
Bought this truck from a coworker. 07.5 with 65k miles for $23,000. Did I make a good deal? I'm coming from a 97 f250 powerstroke. Man what a difference. One of my questions is when I'm towing and using tow/haul mode it seems to downshift fast and kick my rpms up. Is this normal? Really love the truck and can't wait to do deletes.

As far as the tow/haul feature...what you describe is exactly how the tow/haul feature works...sorta acts like a transmission brake. When slowing while towing the down shifts raises the rpm to replicate an engine brake as well. Harder shift points are also normal.

What mods have been done to it? Only 65k miles and $23k is a great deal for sure. You will have lots of reading hear and if a search doesn't answer your questions, don't hesitate to ask!!
