New Flash - AU

I was on my way to the dealer this morning as I had made an appointment to have the newer version of the flash - the AU installed (At my cost as Dodge canceled my warranty!) - and guess what!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It throws the infamous P245A code! the DREADED EGR code! that the AU is to fix.

I also had the high idle activated for traffic/idle purposes

Lets hope the AU version works!!!!!!!!!

Wonder why they cancelled your warranty?

Because I bought my truck in the states and registered it in Canada. Dealer never told me I would have no warranty and they KNEW it was going to Canada.

wow that sucks. have you thought about pursuing legal action towards the selling dealer for not disclosing that info. Of coarse im sure its in the FINE print somewhere. Probably cost ya less to purchase a warranty (if you can in Canada)

Got my AU yesterday and all seems fine. The tech was great, he took me in and showed me how the update works and talked everything through. This is a pretty large truck dealership and he said so far the AU has fixed the p245a problem. I asked about the turbos and he said they have only replaced one since January...which isn't bad compared to all the trucks they sell. Greenbier Dodge in Chesapeake, VA if you are close and need service...they are fast and will talk to you about the issues. I also have an Airaid and he didn't care...in fact he liked it.
