New EPA gear => more stress on engine...decrease lifespan??

With the new emissions gear, what are people saying about how this is affecting the longevity of the engine? Specifically, wouldn't the increase temps from the regens and the exhaust pressure caused by the DPF imply more stress on the engine and ultimately a decreased lifespan?

Although it's way too early to tell, I was hoping to get your thoughts. I'm still reading up on all the EPA gear on the current 6.7L so please excuse me if this has been discussed...I'm exploring the possibility of buying a 2008 and this is my number 1 concern.

There's already a few 6.7L's over the 100k mile range with good service; I believe it's eb290 and GMScott. Although there's some carry*over pieces from the 5.9L, there's a lot of new pieces to counteract the stress that's placed on the 6.7L's due to the DPF and EGR.

This is a Cummins and a Dodge, I think they will last just as long as others.
