new 6.7 owner ??

I Have A 07 3500 6.7,i Have Been Reading On This Forum About Unplugging The Egr . My Truck Is Stock With 8.000 Miles And The Milage Sucks 12mpg Is The Best Its Got. If I Unplug Egr Do I Have To Remove The Butterfly Also??

I just unplugged mine and had no problems.

unpluged mine as well, mileage has increased by two to three mpg, that is with a 50/50 highway and city driving and loaded with foundation forms and tools, averaged 16.5 after unplugging. Wish I could run it on a long stretch of hwy with no load to see what I would avg. That is hand calculated too. I did not pull the butterfly, I may in the future.

sorry, mine did increase 1.5 mpg for both highway and city
