Need help

My wife drives our 08 3500 dually 6.7 too work and it's been running bad this past week. She said when u come to a stop and give it gas again it falls on it's face. I took it out and did the same thing too me. Now the truck just turned 67,500 and the perform service came on above. I have ordered the CCV filter kit from Geno's. Would this filter cause the truck to run this bad??? Or could the fuel pump be on it's way out. Almost to the point where the truck is not driveable. Not too long ago I changed the fuel filter, so I don't think it's that. Any help would be great, thanks. Craig

Need some more information to help maybe. Are there any CELS or codes that you can find? Has the over head display shown any information, as if the DPF needs to be regened? Has the air filter been changed lately or when was the last time it was changed? When you changed the fuel filter was it full of debris? How often do you change the fuel filter on your truck?
Has the truck been deleted?
Thanks this should help us to answer your problem better.

The check engine has been on for the last 4 days. The perform service has been on as long. The fuel fiter was change about 10,000 miles ago. When I changed the filter it did not look dirty. I did just pull the CCV filter, that is full of oil. Air filter has been changed recently, and there are no deletes. Truck is all stock. Exhaust has never been in Regen MODE. We tow a 28ft car trailer often. Thanks.

Just had a friend scan the truck. The code P2563 Turbo position sensor came up. Not to sure if that's from the CCV filter being clogged and pumping dirty oil into the turbo. For now I bypassed the line that goes to the turbo and plugged it.

You definitely have a turbo problem. Dealer will try to clean/flush it first and if that doesn't work it will be replaced.
