my first diesel
i dunno if i made a mistake by buying the new motor, but i guess only time will tell...
i also maybe asking a lot of dumb questions soon, since i never can figure out the right search terms.
anyways, here it is:
2007 Inferno Red SLT 3500 6.7, 6spd auto, 4.10, LSD, and a few more small things.

Not my 1st diesel, but my 2nd one. '96 F-250 was a good truck. Bought an '07 Ram 3500 Quad cab w/ the 6.7 motor. I'm a bit concerned w/ what I've been reading around here about this new motor, and all the senors. It was a bit of an impulse buy on Saturday. On the way to a motorcycle race on Sat. in OKC. Pulled into the Sallisaw Dodge dealer, and left w/ a new truck. New truck sits quite a bit taller than my old '97 Chevy 3500 2wd.
So far we haven't had any problems, but it's got less than 700 miles on it. Only time will tell.
Truck is 4wd, got the Jake brake, 6spd manual, Big Horn package. Rides good, but not as soft as my old Chevy.
Lookin' forward to putting the camper on next weekend, and seeing how it pulls against the old 454.

Congratulations! Nice looking truck.
Don't worry about the new motor, that's what a warranty is for. I've had a few problems with mine but I just take it to my service guys and they take care of it. The only bad part about it is driving that Dodge Stratus loaner that they keep giving me. LOL
It's still a Cummins, so I'm not worried!
