Is the Mega bed smaller than the standard short bed ?

 

Not really 6' 3" the more you use it the more it shrinks.

 

No it is the same. However, any shortbed needs to have a bed extender at times.

I used mine to haula 57 in plasma tv recently. With the box, believe it or not, was about 7 foot.

But really I find it adequate for my uses 99 percent of the time. There is only 1 percent when I wish I hd a long bed and the cab makes up for that 1 percent most graciously cuse I need it more than the long bed.

i haul 90% of my stuff in the mega cab.

i want to find a way to flip up the bottom of the bottom seat, that way you could carry tall skinny stuff in there.

yes, they are the same size, though, i have a standard tonneau cover on my mega bed.

 

I have a swd qc and my son has mega cab dw boy does it look smaller.Just an optical illusion.

 

My brother has a 2007 SRW QC Long Bed and side by side it is the same overall length as my Mega.
