MASS air sensor

I decided to pull the MASS air sensor from the intake to see if it has any soot build up on it. I can only see one torx head screw holding it in so I removed the screw, but I can't seem to pull it out from the intake, it still feels like something is still holding it in. I cannot see anything else holding it in, I tugged at it to the point where I thought I might do damage so I left it alone, any ideas ?

The sensor has an oring around it that fits into the intake system. The o-ring may be stuck to the plastic in there. Might try to work some sort of penetrating oil (very little) into the fit and see if it helps.
