Hello again, guys. I really love my new truck ('07 3500 RAM/6.7 CTD w/6-speed man/CC/SRW/SB). When shifting into most gears the linkage seems to have excessive noise. Now, I realize this is a truck and not a car but is it possible that some kind of lube on the linkage may quiet it down? Or, is he noise just normal. I can live with it but it would be a little nicer if the linkage were quieter. Thanks...

 

My '07 makes a little noise when shifting too. The 2nd to 3rd and 3rd to 4th shifts seem to be the noisiest. I still don't have enough miles on it yet to determine whether it's the truck or me not used to how it likes to be driven. Glad to hear mine is not the only one though!
