I have been looking for mega for few months. 07 5.9 got away from me..The best deals so far is 07 with 32k miles one owner/silver (3rd choice color) next is 08 white with 60k miles worked a little harder as far a pulling (1st choice color) both price/equiped the same...My question is, with the problems (07) 6.7 has experienced have they been worked out for 08...Is their any improvements for 08 or worse problems..Any info provided that can help me make up my mind will be appreciated.

By the way the 08 is SXT,,,,does anyone know what this package consist of or doenst consist of?

 

As far as I know the 07.5 through the 09 are all the same except the later 08's have the locked down ecm.

 

Actually this was done in March 09, for the 09 trucks not the 08's. I have an 08 SLT, 3/4 ton Mega cab and love it.
If the 07.5, 6.7L truck has had the latest flashes from Dodge, then this should be trouble free on the emission equipment.
The SXT is the next step up from the ST work truck. This truck does not come with the tilt steering wheel, nor cruise control and the factory steel wheels are chrome clad.

Ok, thats why is cheaper, he told me it had cruise & steel wheels,, i have some 08 alloys in my barn...

 

go with the 07 and put the new flash on it you should be fine or.... Just delete everything
