The dealer I go through wholesale 90% of trade in vehicles so they will give you a lot more than a dealer that is going to sell on their lots. I got mine for $36,000 before trade in taxes and etc. I took my loan out for 51k. I was quite abit upside down and put quite abit into it like rims, tires, lift, fender flares etc.

Bought mine about 2 months ago - MSRP was 48.5K, I got it for 38K after rebates.
Just an FYI - something I learned the other day...after I purchased my truck, Is that I could have saved an extra $500. If you join your states Farm Bureau and are a member for 30 days you get a coupon for $500 off a new dodge. I think membership is only $15. So if you're thinking of getting a new truck, might be worth looking into.

three things to shop for when looking at a vehicle..especially dodge right now. i just bought an 07 mega cab 6.7 6sp auto 4x4. replaced an 05 chev duramax 4x4 cc. check invoice on the truck and look at the entire sheet. check dodges website for rebates. on the invoice sheet if your dealer is honest and showing you true invoice you will see dealer hold back money. usually around 1200-1800. take the invoice minus rebate minus dealer hold back.....if trading in a vehicle thats a seperate argument all together. good luck. my 07 msrp was $51,152. walked out total price 42115. financing is a different war again. dealer financing v ur bank... the dealer will give up some money if you finance through them....its tuff but study it all and you can get a good deal even if you have to travel to another county. call and email other dealers and give them the vin number of the one you want...

It's definitely a lot of work to find the best OVERALL deal. I was pretty lucky. I found a dealer 30 minutes away in the O.C. who was giving $11K of MSRP (advertised on the internet and an in-law who lives really close to the dealer told me about it). My truck in the signature listed at $51K on the sticker. Got it down to $40K. Thats $11K off ($3.5K Dodge - $7.5K Dealer). Then add back in the taxes, license and other BS. and was back up to $44K out the door with a full tank of gas. I think it was a great deal and was lucky enough to not have to bother with the finance...

Some of you guys really got what sounds like an awesome deal. Out the door is the real deal though, not just $ off MSRP.

So what are people paying for the 08's? Seems like most of the big savings are on the 07's.. - Thanks

Found an '07 6.7 optioned like I wanted and got $9,000 off sticker ($4,000 in incentives and $5,000 dealer discount). After adding some running boards, a bedliner, and mudflaps, I paid $38,000. The MSRP was around $45,800. I think I got a decent deal, especially for barely fighting with them. Traded in my old '97 Powerstroke and ended up paying $29,500 out-the-door.

Mine was listed for 50,120. Got it out the door for 44,5 w/ 0% financing. Had to go to Indi for the truck though. Couldn't find one in my area.

Usually little under dealer invoice with all rebates offered at the time and no dealer BS.
