Hot Unlock

I am currently thinhking about purchasing the Edge, but i think i want to get the hot unlock code. However after reading the waiver its got me a little worried, im not wanting to go start diving into my tranny upgrading it just yet. Anyone out the have the unlock and have any problems with it?

If all of your emissisons equipment is still in tact on your truck the Hot unlock is a waste of money. Putting it on a setting higher than "3" for any period of time causes an almost constant regen, especially if you plan on hot-rodding at all. The 5 levels that come on the Juice before the Hot unlock are more than plenty for a stock 6.7L. Now, if you have made your truck "for off road use only" then go for it. Just be wary of high boost launches and keep an eye on your transmission temperature and you should be fine.
