Gear ratio help, 4X4, 2500, '05
I currently have a 2005, 4x4 OffRoad Edition 2500. I have 4:10 gears and looking for 3:73's. What is the difference in mileage, I have gotta get better that 13.8MPG. Is this change over worth it?

sound like something may be wrong man.
My dad has 4.10's in his 05 and he averages 18.5 -20
Heck my truck weighs 8000lbs with 4.56's and I get better than that towing 3 horses.

iv'e got an 05 6spd with 3.73s and i average 17.5 to the gallon, and that is mostly running on the crazy larry as well.
