Here is a question :

I have an 2008 6.7 dually.

Fueltank was melted in a grass fire.

I am wondering if I can just replace the tank (part # 52122778AB)

& use a FASS for my fuel pump,

or do I also need to get

Fuel pump module ( 68003468AB) also.


I dont know if the fuel pump module has any other functions like fuel level etc?

Any help would be appreciated.

 

Yes it does have other funtions. The fuel gauge stuff is part of it. Your going to need to plug the hole in the new tank anyhow. I can't believe you still have a truck!

 

Thanks. Interesting story. Truck has 12 miles on it. The back was in a grass fire at a dealer. I bought it auction and am rebuilding it, and then will throw it on ebay. It will have a salvage title and no warranty, but the price will be right. The front looks all good. Pictures Here .
