Engine Coolant Temperature

What is the engine coolant temperature as it exits the engine (enters the radiator) and how much does it get cooled down to after it flows thru the radiator. As the thermostat is at approximately 190F, would it be safe to assume that this is the target temperature after the coolant flows thru the radiator?

Good question. I too would like to know the difference between water temperature and coolant temperature. I use a quadzilla scout 2 for monitoring and smarty pod and I notice the coolant warning setting on it only goes down to 225 deg f. My water always stays around 190-194 deg f. What is the difference? Thanks
