DTC P2262 and P2509

I just replaced the stock turbo with a replacement and its not building boost. It is also blowing white smoke out of the exhaust and throwing these codes.

P2262 TURBOCHARGER BOOST PRESSURE NOT DETECTED - MECHANICAL
P2509 POWER DOWN DATA LOST ERROR

While replacing the turbo I also took off the EGR cooler and valve and put the sinister EGR kit on. I then installed EFI Live.
The only thing that I havent done yet is take off the DPF. Anyone ever encounter the same type of problem?

I know the P2262 is associated with a bad or stuck turbo, but like I said I just installed it. Is it possible that something isnt connected correctly causing it to throw the code?

My friend replaced the ten year old Mopar batteries on his recently purchased 2004.5 and the P2509 disappeared within a few key cycles.

May need PCM updated, white smoke out exhaust pipe maybe other issue. Possible EGR cooler leaking coolant into EGR system. I would check that no coolant is in crossover pipe to EGR valve. There is also turbo test that can be ran when code P2262 is stored. Dealer test using WiTech support.

I bought the re-manned turbo on-line. Turned out to be a bad exhaust brake. Had to send it back to get it fixed. The EB still doesn't seem to sound right though.

Did you ever find the cause? My truck will surge a few times and then it's like the exhaust brake comes on. I have zero throttle when this happens. Turbo was removed and bench tested as good. Fully deleted truck
