I just picked up my new Megacab from the dealer yesterday, I believe it was built on 6/11 then sat in storage in Satillo for 3/4 weeks before being delivered. How will I know if it was flashed in Mexico? I looked under the hood but didn't see any stickers showing rev a or b.

Do a search and you will find the cutoff date. I don't remember the exact date, just sometime in June. Mine was built in March and was one of those that had to be flashed before it was sold and does have a sticker under the hood.

 

Have the Dealer check your VIN for it. My truck was built on the 14th. Starting on the 12th of June, new trucks got the updated flash at the factory, so I don't think yours will have it.

 

Just went and had mine flashed (built in April 2007).

If you have a new 6.7 go to your dealer and tell them to check
Total Service Bulletin 18-033-07.

My truck had revision AQ in it and this new TSB took it to a AT.

I personally did not have an issue with my truck and it was driving fine but without this update my truck was never going to go into regen mode.

This update is for excessive soot accumulation, and their was 5 other issues but I do not remember them all. Mostly emmissions issues.

I also had them add the idle up feature which takes 10 minutes...

Where exactly is the sticker under the hood and what does it say? My truck was built 03-07 and I'm not sure if it's been updated either. Had no problems yet though with 2300 miles.
