Smile checkin in

Hi guys,
Just checkin in. My first time post. I'm new to the diesel game. Bought it to pull my 5th wheel I'll be getting this coming April.
It's a "07" Dodge 2500 Laramie Quad 6.7 Inferno Red with all the options including GPS. Got about 4000 miles on it now. Really like it. Already been back to the dealer about a 1000 miles ago for dreaded cel. I followed the owners manual and drove on the freeway to burn the soot out. Overhead warning said it was getting worse. Anyway they performed TSB 178-009-07. Whatever that is. They flashed PCM. And I guess replaced a part LABEL GEN 14086100. Does anyone know what that is?? Then they said that if it happens again the warranty won't cover it. What the @#%& does that mean??

Are you running stock?? I too am curious what part they won't warranty with under 36K miles or 3 years. That is unless it was a wear item that they replaced in the name of good customer service.

Well, I called a few days ago. Left a message but they never did call back.
Guess they're not making money to answer a simple question. Will be driving over there to see them in person this week. I'll keep you posted.

Update. O.k. They finally called back. Told me that I was misinformed as they were. That ( as most of you probably already know) it's a software problem and the warranty is still in effect. Relief!!
