had problem with particulate filter, got that resolved, truck is fine , any way to reset the check engine lite. truck is 2007 6.7 dodge.

 

Depending on the codes it may reset itself after a few starts. If you have a friend with a Smarty it can be cleared in about 5 seconds.

 

Well, I just had O'Reilly's clear a 226B on mine. I think it was just an anomaly of some sort. I had cranked the truck and driven it less than a mile to a quick stop for a drink and shut if off. It was still cold. CEL came on when I restarted about 2-3 minutes later and wouldn't clear after a few starts. Truck ran fine and no light so far after resetting

Also, I tried to retrieve the code like 10 times and never could get anything to come up? Three times right? The only thing I ever saw come up was just a straight dotted line once or twice. I gave up and took it to Oreilly's
