I just got my truck back from the shop on Friday and 130 miles later the CEL came on again. It was a 2262 code on Thursday and the did 4 updates and cleaned the turbo. I tried the key trick and no luck with the code coming up on the dash. I drove it hard with the exhaust brake on and the CEL light went off.

I've had some trouble retrieving codes with the key trick. Sometimes the odometer just flashes "done" even though the CEL is on. I bought a cheap code scanner at Walmart and it works fine. Even lets me reset the CEL if I want.

 

Well the dealer ordered the new turbo for it. So we will be getting a new turbo.
