Bout to pick up my new 6.7l..what can I do?

To prevent the dreaded turbo, EGR and DFP problems? I heard that I should run the EB all the time? Is there a mod that I can do to increase HP/TQ WITHOUT jepordizing my warantee? I would like to make the exhaust louder, and do any mods that Dodge is ok with. Any help would be great.

Thanks,
Mav

mav,

Check the warranty with one of the finance guys, you are pretty screwed with the DPF they have been horrendous for the new engine. As far as adding power, most intakes like KN and AFE wont void your warranty, exhaust possibly because of all of the new emissions equipment. I have been told by many diesel professionals that the exhaust systems on the new trucks are fair in quality and can support more power without opening them. I would suggest a smarty if they are availiable for the new engine because it won't leave any traces in the ecu. the edge juice will cause your dpf to goto ****. but more on point, check with some of the maintenence guys about what the warranty covers and what voids it.

Thanks for the info hawk. I've been reading a little bit lately. Gonna try the EGR unplug on the way home from the dealer. I'm going to do one take with and one without to see what the difference is.
