Was at work the other day and a fellow had a 07 3500 dRW with a 6.7l in it, didn't think nothing of it, it idled all day because he was running his air compressor seemed like a regular 6.7l dodge. I jumped in it to get a ride back to the office and I started looking in it and it did not have the 6 speed auto tranny and it did not have a exhaust brake, and it was indeed a 6.7l truck. how many of these are floating around out there?, I never heard of any.

 

Probably a cab and chassis truck, the first one i saw didnt have egr or cooler, didnt look to see if it had dpf or not.

 

Did it sit up like a 4wd even though it was a 2wd ?

 

It was produced before 1-1-2007 it has a 5.9L in it.

 

It was a 4WD, I also seen another truck with the same company, it did have the exhaust brake but did not have the 6 speed, i just thought it was odd to see a 6.7L 3500 without a exhaust brake and the 6 speed. the second mech said those trucks are ordered as cab and chassis trucks so there is probably a difference there.
