I had a buddy who had just a boost gauge & pyro in his old 04' & they told him they couldn't work on a transmission problem cuz it was "chipped" & the truck had never had a box or programmer or anything, they just seen the gauges & assumed it was chipped?? never checked it with the scan tool, just "assumed" do you guys think that kind of stuff is right????? seems like they're getting a little bit ridiculous with the warranty crap???? sorry for ranting, & I don't wanna start a war over the warranty stuff, but like I said I think they go a bit overboard with it sometimes??? Dusty
Same here Dusty tried of hearing about it. All we want to know about is some mod that what is mostly talk about on this web site so it sounds like well more than 75% on this web site don't have warranty I guess it going to be our problem later. Dusty talk to edge eariler today and they said it will out in July they still got some testing to do.

That is totally untrue. We warranty stuff everday that shouldn't be warrantied, but people are pushing their luck way to far as time goes by and I am gonna have to start putting my foot down. It real easy for a bunch of you guys on here to tell these guys to go ahead and do it. But I know from my clientele that about half the guys out there who have these things are scratching together every penny they have to just make the payment, what happens when they go out and chip their truck and burn something up? Then they are stuck with a $600-700 a month payment on a truck that won't run and they can't afford the $5000-$10000 to fix it?

Luke, I totally understand where you guys are coming from, but like I said in my earlier post should a man be denied transmission work over a set of gauges??? I mean come on, that's a little ridiculous, & I realize that wasn't at your shop & you had nothing to do with it, but you see my point as well as I see yours I'm sure, & I'm in no way shape form or fashion telling anyone to chip or not to chip their truck?? it's none of my business, but I was simply wondering if anyone had tried the box out yet, & right off the bat someone jumps in screaming about the warranty crap??? we all have been warned time & time again about the warranty being voided & we all know that these trucks will pull anything most people could ever want to stock, but that's way off from the point of the original question I asked???? no disrespect meant towards anyone with my post here, just voicing my opinions! Dusty

I had a tranny TC issue at 6000 miles. Mopar gave me the run around. MY truck was bone stock except for an aftermarket exhaust system. They wouldn't take my truck out on a test drive with my trailer hooked up. With my truck empty, my truck wouldn't do the shudder/bucking. I also paid for two lift pumps and one injection pump cause I didn't get the dealership to document when I was changing my fuel filters. I did the change but they had to have proof and a sales invoice wasn't good enough.
I was talking to my local dodge saleman, he told me that they will not provide any warranty work for plugged exhaust particle filters on any 6.7L trucks. Makes me want to buy one. Makes my 2 gen VP injection pump issue sound pretty minor to me.

All I can say is that the Juice is worth every penny.. UPS man dropped my Beta test box off this morning and I love it. Great power and no smoke.. Plus it has plenty of safety features built in. It even tells when it goes into regen. mode.. Level 5 is 85 hp and the hot unlock is 100 hp with 250 .lb of torque..

Dodge wouldn't warranty my lift pump because I had a fuel pressure gauge. Said the gauge caused it to fail. Fought that one and won. Then my cruise control went out and they tried to blame it on my aftermarket fuel pump. Fought that one and won. Now if you can prove to me how a fuel pressure gauge broke my lift pump and my aftermarket fuel pump broke my cruise I'll pay for the repairs but I don't think you can and it was ridiculous for dodge to try and get out of the warranty because of that. I'm all for trying to hide stuff from the dealer.

Thanks for that reponse to the thread. I'm interested in the Edge but ONLY for monitoring purposes. Can you install without changing any parameters at all, leaving everything stock?? I was going to contact Edge but saw this thread. I'd rather have one unit for monitoring than 2 or 3 separate guages and I thought the overhead Edge unit looked sweet to fit the bill. Just don't want or need to mess with the engine!!

Well I am a beta tester to and had it a couple days and it a pretty sweet unit. You still got to buy the juice with attitude to run the attitude but I guess you could leave it on the stock setting but that alot of money just for gauges.

Well Blue, I guess that I'm not that mad at mopar. I just bought myself a 07 300 srt8. Its gonna stay stock, heh... I already got an exhaust and new intake coming. I'm gonna see how good this mopar only warranty is. Its warranty legal right.

I am also a beta tester, unit seems to perform really well, still trying to get everything lined out for the cab/chassis models.
