does the 6.7L have a silencer ring in the turbo??? I was thinking the other day of how good the turbo would sound w/out it when the exhaust brake kicks on, started to just have a look at it, but seemed like too much junk to remove if there wasn't gonna be anything there when I got done?? anybody know if it's there or not??? thanks, Dusty

 

As new as that motor is you'll have to look and be the first to know! Tell us what you find.

 

I have been thinking about it two. If I do it the next couple of days I will let yall know.

Yeah there is something that resembles a silencer ring on the new turbos. It is pinned on in 3 places if I remember correctly.

 

any idea on how to remove it??? or if it even can be removed?? thanks, Dusty
