I read in the recent trailer life that they are rated for 5% Bio. Perhaps they will run more.

Oh maybe 30-minutes south of you, give or take.

Yeah I’m having the worst luck with dealers. Called Dave Smith last week for a quote, still waiting for that call back. Caught Bremerton Dodge lying to me yesterday , walked out over 800.00 $.
Have my F-550 setting on Truck Town’s lot in Bremerton.

All 2007 Cummins motors are rated for 5% bio officially from Cummins.

You can run B5 in any Cummins product.

You will be able to purchase a "B20" kit from Mopar (2nd 20 micron water stripper) if you want to run B20.

B20 is the max though.

Hey Don, How will they handle B100. I have been making biodiesel for a longtime and just got an 08 6.7. I've been running B100 in it for the last 3000 miles with no problems. However I'm a bit concerned about the injectors.

Biodiesel in the 6.7L

Dont be ridiculous. The 6.7 runs biodiesel (up to B20 is warrantied in fleet) and ULSD dino diesel. The engines come with B5 in them.

What about the biodiesel breaking down the oil I have seen a lot of talk on other sites about this. Not the DPF as much as the way the 6.7 regens the DPF is dumps fuel into the cylinders on the exhaust stroke to flash burn the fuel to heat up the DPF and bio diesel has allot higher flash point than USLD and allot of fuel going into the crank case from the research I have done you can actually see the dipstick gain in-between oil changes, it does this some with USLD just not as drastic. If you drive more around town then it will regen more, that is my oil change light came on at 3000 mile when i took it back to dealer and asked ***, that was the reason I got for the early oil change light was driving habits and conditions another words city driving contaminated the oil due to having to regen more often so be careful with bio
I would like to run it, did in 04 with no problems but will not in 08 until I can stop the regen process of the DPF
