OK, I got it last night!. All I can say it the AISIN and the exhaust brake rules!!! It is quite stiff but not unberable, the Goodyear tires wine at about 80KM/H and then go away. First gear in the tranny is geared really low and the power comes on fast, more peppy that when my 5.9L was stock. With the 4.88's the RPM is about 2100 going 100KM/H in 6th which is OK for towing because I like to tow at about 2200RPM. I really love the truck,if you are going to order a 3500C&C just go all the way and get a 4500 or 5500,it is a machine. I got about 100 pics of it that are on my camara I will send a link to my photobucket soon.

Thank you.

I have been looking at the same red dump bed truck that DC has published for two years and I was tired of it. We need a new brush truck in the dept. and I am voting for a Dodge. Our fire dept. 03 F550 6.0L has 6850mi on it and it has been in the shop at least 5 times with major problems (two new turbos that I know of), however it will not be replaced. We just need another brush truck and a long chassis single cab RAM 5500 will fill the bill. I would rather buy a "triton V10" than an 6.4L ford turd. Dodge finally hired the big gun.

I will be pulling a gooseneck most of the time, the rest will be spent hauling skids on the flat deck.

The fender flares might not look right on a 3500, the 4500 & 5500 frontends are 5" wider.
