Other than that, depending on what your dad wants to do with it weigh the options of manual vs auto very heavily. If you plan on towing a good deal the auto is sweet for it, but if he wants to hop it up some the auto isn't much for the long once the power starts going up. On the manual truck the clutch is easy enough to swap out once the power goes up.
