So ive searched and found some on 4x4 not disengaging but nothing on it not engaging
I have a 2007 with electric shift. What im experiencing is a lack of shift on the fly, which isnt too important but in the cities it helps in MN winter. If im going faster than 5 mph it wont shift into 4x4 the light just flashes. if i stop or go slwoer than 5mph it will engage. then sometimes when i try and disengage it the light will go out but it will stay engages,

now or my fix so far, I thought it was due to mismatch tire wear, so i bought all new tires, and that did not fix it. That was my actual thought as to what it would be as i did have 2 tires 3/4 worn out and 2 that wernt even half yet.
Does anyone have experience with this? Im wondering if the DRC 3 or whatever the chrysler scanner is can tell me why it wont shift? thanks for whatever insites you can let me in on.
