*** - my truck keeps yelling at me to change the oil

Here's the rub....I have. Twice!

Do I have to do some stupid stand on my head and sacrifice a chicken all while reading the owners manual backwards and turning the key 85 times in 1 second routine to tell the ECU to shut up and leave me alone?

i had a similar situation so i called the dealer, here is what you do, turn the key to the run position, press the go pedal to the metal tree times then turn the key off and it should chime, then you know it is done

200 miles ago was the last oil change....it's been doing for almost the entire time since the first oil change.

Mine doesn't chime either but the overhead stops displaying the oil change required. At least for another 2000 miles or so.
