Yeah! noise in 4x4!
Only in 4x4 going about 80km noise from the front diff. Its sounds like tires rubbing...obviously not that but its a wierd noise.

What now????

ball joints? I get the noise when in 4x4 and turning. more of a metal noise though. I really need to get it fixed before winter though.

Well if it sounds like tires rubbing it might be a bearing on it's way out! Or possibly a U joint! I'd go with a U joint due to only hearing it when in 4wheel drive! I hope that helped any! Good luck!
