I have a 2005 2500 and when i crank it to let it warm up it sounds sorda like a manifold leak but it sounds like its on the drivers side. After a couple of minutes it goes away, has anyonme else had this problem or might know what it is? Btw im new on here so hello everyone!

 

mine does the same thing i thought it was a injector tick maby,but I would also like to know,Took mine in to dealer and they did a valve adj. which made the motor as quite as new but tick was still there on start up.

 

Are you sure it's not the power steering pump? They quiet down after a few miles. If it bugs you switch to synthetic fluid.
