Every once in a blue moon I will have a rough idle with white smoke on start up. It will even do it when the engine is hot. It will run like a sherman tank for like five minutes and then I hear a click as if a sticky solenoid kicked in and the smoke and rough idle stop immediately. Any ideas what it could be? It will do it for a few times a day and then wont come back for like 2 months. The truck has 70K miles on it.

 

that is a sticking injector... need to isolate it and then fix it.

 

Also, you should be covered under warranty.
