Where to get the parts??

As I stated in another thread, the tail section of my exhaust rotted off and broke at the end of the muffler. The welded seam that runs all the way down it was even rotted. Anyway i called around to a few auto part stores and was told it is a dealer part, that I would have to get the part from the dealership. Where is everyone getting their exhaust parts?? The wife told me to look in one of my catalogs and pick out a new exhaust but I don't want anything louder than stock. Any ideas are appreciated.

A salvage yard online....I suppose, maybe get something from the southern states where the winter and the salt aren't so hard on the parts....Good Luck!

Exhaust shops maybe. My old roommate put exhaust on his Chevy and didn't like it, but he'd gotten rid of his factory stuff so he had to search for someone who took theirs off and left it at the shop too.

I have a stock tail pipe lying around, if you were closer id say just come on and get it...

Its cut right after the muffler(might need to add 3-4" of pipe), but all there, minus the rear-most hanger. Also have the stock muffler too...

Dang, you would think the stock muffler would have lasted longer than that. Let us know what you wind up with.
