I did my 03 at about 30k - the worst one was .002" loose. It was free - the gasket is reusable. Craig

Hard to say what the dealer would charge, but it doesn't take very long to do

Do keep us posted. I'm wanting to get mine done too. Is he taking it to a Dodge dealer, or Cummins.

Anyone have a link to adjusting the valves yourself?
Self adjusting(like an ls1), or do you need to bump it over for each valve?

Valve lash adjustment not required for those owners that uses synthetic oil.

i have never heard of this.. what is your reasoning behind this? im pretty sure that the valve stems streach and the vlaves seat in further reguardless of type of oil.. ????
