What Synth Gear Oils are PAO's?
Mobil 1, and Amsoil as we all know, along with RP and RL, etc. I used locally available Valvoline Syntech 75w-90 when I changed mine at 15,000 a few days ago, and the diff seems to like it all right. I just wondered what other more common brands on stgore shelves might be PAO's versus Group IIIs. Next 15,000 I want to make sure I use a PAO oil.

Anybody know? This never gets discussed that I have seen and it seems to me to be pretty important, much like the difference between PAO and non PAO motor oils both being called synth...

Shell Spirax is PAO - at least according to my local bulk agent. Paid around $6.00 per litre.
