What size socket needed for front hubs?

What size socket needed for front hubs?

dont have it apart yet still waiting for parts but what size socket holds the front hub bearing unit on?

From: In Oroville, Ca., same house for past 46 yrs!
If your's is like mine, you can't change the bearings... you change out the whole hub assembly.
I hope they got their act together on the 2004's on up in the lighter weight trucks (3/4 ton vs 1 ton units)

1 3/4in will work. Its a little loose but thats what I used for mine.

You will need a 1 11/16 in a 3/4 drive. Loosen the nut before you lift the truck. You may need a breaker bar and an extension on the bar.

Like FastTaco I used a 1 3/4 socket.
