What now??

I got a full set of gauges on the way now, and I have a few hundo free for truck goodies. What's next? I don't want to do anything that increases fuel pressures or is dealer findable. What's next? My truck is stock. Boost Fooler?

I woudl do intake & remove the muffler... Then do the tranny. After that, up your power level... I see Quad/Smarty both seem to be a very popular choices. I went with Quad. They are the best customer service that I've ever encountered!

It seems that the performance enhancers cause vastly shortened injector life and more frequent failures, so I'm leary of them. Also, I'm not convinced that towing long distances will be tollerable without the muffler. Any thoughts on that?

I seem to be finding mixed reviews on putting a boost fooler on a stock truck.

Not necessarily true. I've run my Banks for 100K now, towed long distances (CA to Canada and back), on high levels and have not had a single problem and still getting good mileage too...

But now you have jinxed me...

i didnt really see much of a difference with a boost fooler when i was stock. i took the muffler off and left the cat and am very happy with it. it sounds stock to me when cruising down the highway. look at the quad xzt.

If you are worried about undetectable and no change in fuel pressure you could try a Rokktech sensor. They claim to have a quiet straight-through muffler as well. People usually have problems with injectors etc. when they really bomb their trucks or use the boxes at the highest settings. I imagine a Power Puck set on the lower settings would be fine.
