Stanadyne Lubricity formula

Personally I like Stanadyne lubricity formula. The Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel of today does not lubricate as well as the diesel of 10 years ago or the Low Sulfur Diesel. ATF has some undesirable additives that may not be good for your CR diesel.

Definitely upgrade your filtration. Even Cummins decided the old 10 micron filters of yesteryear were not good enough for the early CR. Now they recommend 7 micron filtration. I'm using 2 micron for my vehicle.

Take a look at this research project: http://http://www.dieselplace.com/fo...y-results.html . Is it gospel, probably not, but at least there may be some good information contained.

Good luck,............dogger
