What fluid for trans case & 6 SPD?
I just purchased an 04 with 150k miles. I changed the oil and am going to to do the diffs. I want to change the oil in the transfer case and transmission as well but am unsure which fluid to use,
It's my pot and I'll stir it if I want to. If you're not careful, I'll stir your's as well!

From: Central Mexico.
Transfer case is ATF4. For the transmission you can use the expensive special Dodge 6 speed oil or the Penzoil Synchromesh Manual Transmission fluid. There are other suppliers as well. DO NOT use ATF 4 in the tranni as some recommend.
