Waterpump is gone on my new to me 04.5 2500. Wanted to know if there is a preffered replacement or just any parts store pump will work. Also is there any info on doing a complete flush I want to do one and switch to the ELC coolant, anyone else running ELC? Thanks, also how bad of a job is a waterpump on this truck, I know it sucked on my 7.3.

 

I have not had the need to change mine yet but it is a 10 minute job once you get the belt off.
I have not heard of any issues with Napa pumps
