Walbro ?
Walbro ?
The CP3 seems to be able to pull fuel through the walbro .
My circut breaker is acting up. Pump is cool to the touch though. So I dont think is drawing to much current.
When the pump stops the engine does'nt.
Is it the design of the pump?
When my fuel pump failed (not a walbro). The engine stalled.
After a quick call to Floor it. I bypassed the pump & drove home.
Im not saying I would'nt bypass it if it failed but it is a good feature for safety.

I'm pretty sure my GDP walbro came with a fuse, not a breaker. What is the rating on the breaker? I guess it would depend on the style of the pump on whether it can pull it though it or not.
Did the truck act any different when the pump cuts out?

I got the relay with a painless wireing kit, Im not sure how many amps it is.
I just got finished removeing the breaker & installed a mini fuse holder.
How many amp fuse does the walbro kit come with?
thanks,doug
Amp Draw
I found a chart , at 20 LBS it draws 6 amps.
I put in a 10 amp and it seems to be holding.
With the help of a fuse buddy , that would be a good way to check the condition of your filters.
If you see it drawing more amps , time to change the filters.

mine has a 15A mini... normally fuses are sized at 1.5 times full load amps, can you send me a link to the walbro chart?
The 10A you have should work, if it pops, upgrade to the 15A and keep us posted.
