Question vibration in injector line

My truck has been doing it for about a month and have not really worried about it to much. beacuse it has not efected the running of the truck.

there is a vibration and a ticking noise. in the first injector line on the front driver side of the engine.. you can not feel the vibration unless you touch it. but you can hear the ticking all the time..

what could the be the cause of this? bad injector? they are stock with 171k on them

The vibration is normal, check the tightness of the clamp(blue plastic) securing that line, and the other lines as well. If the clamp is loose, it will tick and eventually break the line.

The first line, injector #1 does not not have a clamp. The vibration/pulsing is normal. But JJ is right about making sure the line clamps on the others are tight. #4 is notorious for coming loose and cracking the line.

You are correct, there is no clamp on 1 or 6. 1 does come very close to the grid heater ground and wire harness, as much as 1 vibrates I would try and clear everything out around it.

Did you find the source of the ticking?
