Mine is fine. Less vibration than my '98 1500 2wd gasser.

no vibrations,no issues, goes like a bat out of h***.love this truck.wouldn't even think of trading it off for a f*** PSD or a c**** DM/A.there are a lot of these trucks running around the area and no one seems to have any issues with them.
they are a mixture of 2500 SWB,LWB,3500 SWB,LWB,dually,and are mostly 4x4's.

My truck (see sig below) is bone stock and smooth as glass. I have taken it down the interstate a few times and have no vibs at 70. The only thing I did notice was that at 80 mph I do have a weird vibe type of sound that I cant explain. I never drive that fast so I dident get concerned abought it. I dident feel any vibe just heard a loud growling sound that couldent put a finger on. At first I thought I was getting passed by a Harly but after checking the mirrors I couldent find it. It took a bit to realize the sound was comming from my truck and then I realized I was running 80 mph. As soon as I dropped under 80 the sound stopped. My only 2 complaints are a ticking/knocking noise and fuel milage. Both are a whole nother story that rais my blood preasure just thinking abought them.

Oh for what its worth I have around 15000 miles on the truck and have had it for almost exactly 1 year.

My dad has put 15,000 miles on his 04.5 without one single problem, knock on wood. What i'm wondering is how much vibration are we talking about here? A little, or dangerous levels?

It's not that bad, but very noticable. More of an irritant than anything else. But, something is not right...therefore, something will be wearing out sooner than expected.

I just set my cruise at 69 MPH. I get better gas mileage that way too!

I am not letting them touch my truck until a TSB is out that tells them exactly what to do.

The most quietest and smoothest truck I've owned and that is with a no loyalty factor. She runs solid from 0 - 80 and the steering wheel does not even shimmy. Just a nice ride. I was very surprised how much quieter a diesel is compared to a gasser on an open highway. Only time I go to the dealer is to take advantage of my complimentary lifetime oil changes. I hope that continues to be the pattern.

Pretty stupid if you ask me...

I must be in the other 10%. Mine was a 4X2. It didn't have four wheel drive. It only had rear wheel drive. It wasn't a 4X4. It didn't have a front drive shaft. The problem isn't limited to 4X4s. It appears to be on more 4X4s because there are far more 4X4s with short beds on the road. My 4X2 long bed was a rare configuration and it had the driveline vibe. I could shut the motor off with the tranny in neutral at 70mph and coast down through the vibration speed and it would rattle the change in the ash tray. It was more than annoying. It had 44k on it when I traded it. Don't miss it a bit. My '01.5 was flawless. Dummy me thought DC would build the '03 just as flawless. Until the lift pump and vibration issues are dead and gone, I'll feed the thirsty Hemi. Being as it wasn't motor vibration in the '03 as I could shut the Cummins off at 70mph and the vibration was alive and well, I don't know why the Hemi powered Rams aren't having the vibrations with the same AAM 10.5" rear axle I had with the '03. It could be tread squirm with the weight of the Cummins on the front end resonating through the chassis feeling like rear end for all I know.

No vibe, or any other for that matter, problems with mine so far....granted I've only had it a week & a half, but in that week and a half I've spent more than 4 hours on open highway with it, anywhere from 55-80 and didn't notice any bad vibes. It sure vibrates less than the 1500 5.9 gas that I traded in....and MUCH more pleasant to listen to than my old dual cat-back gas system. My truck has almost 24K on it. Hopefully, I can stay away from this vibe problem.

With 13k and change on the clock, mine vibrates right on cue starting at about 68mph through about 76mph after which it smooths out again. That and the rattle/buzz in the driver door (exacerbated by the vibe) are my only complaints about this truck, though.
