Is it a U-Joint?
I have a 2007 DRW Diesel Ram. I have a sqweaking sound coming from what I think is the u-joint before the rear axle pumpkin. I only have 42,000 miles on the truck. Isnt this alittle premature? and if it is the u-joint is there any good aftermarket ones?

My center U joint went out at around that mileage. You may see a little rusty colored stuff by the seals if you look closely, but the best way to tell for sure is to drop the driveshaft and flex them.
I think I put in a Precision greasable, which has been fine.
