True HP

I have the H.O. engine in my truck. They say it is 305hp.Can anyone tell me how much of that actually makes it to the ground?I've driven some 300hp stuff in my day and I don't believe this is even close.

What kind of 300hp stuff have you driven? Was it a 6K+Truck? I don't think they do to bad for stock, if you want a little more pep put a box on it.

Don't think HP. Think Torque.

Torque gets you moving and horse power just keeps you moving. These trucks are over 7000lbs empty. If you put a 300 HP gas engine in it you will think differently. 305 HP may not be much but the 555 ft/lb of torque your truck has is nice.
