It's a cam sensor error code. have you degreased or washed the motor recently?

Okay. The truck has not been washed or powerwashed at all lately. The light has not come back on since last week. Should I clear the code or just leave it be?

if the problem has corrected itself the code should clear itself.

Mine threw the same code last winter, after the engine failed to start at 30 below zero (block heater falfunction). The code would not reset (even pulled battery cables off for several hours), and had to be cleared by scantool. It hasn't re-occured, but I have a spare sensor in the glove box just in case.

I found this post while searching the answer to a problem I'm having. I have a p0341 code and have tried replacing the cam position sensor, no luck. Then I spent an hour on my back wire looming and taping the wires that rub the AC compressor, no luck! I just a had a cam installed and the engine WAS pressure washed due to an oil leak that had gotten everywhere. Why would pressure washing the engine cause this code, and how can I fix it?

Water gets forced into places it isn't supposed to be when you use a pressure washer, bad mojo for a diesel engine... check EVERY plug and connection and clean with Electrical cleaner. Putting a little dialectric grease on the plugs before putting them back together can't hurt either.

That is where I would start.......
