Transmission Whine

'07 with auto just started to have that deep whining on takeoff,
truck has approx. 8K on it, time to take it to the dealer?

I think i have the same problem, but it will only do it once or twice a week

Think it might be fanclutch. The temp is warmer now and fan will come on in stop and go traffic.
